I am 33 years old. I am a mother, a wife, and I have decided to take a stand against corporate life. I have been in situations that were unfair in working environments where I felt I had given so much of my personal time for the company who did not value me as an individual but just someone to micro manage. My dedication to them meant nothing once I did not agree with the way they were handling the task at hand or their policy was questioned. I believe that everyone is fighting a personal battle if not now then before and everyone is unique and should be shown empathy when needed comfort when needed and encouragement when needed. Every person is worthy of excellence and no one has the right to make someone feel less then, or unappreciated. I believe everyone is here on earth with a purpose and we are all on a journey to be our best and find our best life and to be happy. Life is to short to allow another to make you unhappy . I will never have to bend my beliefs to do something I feel is unfair ever again. That is already giving me happiness and a peace of mind. I'm being authentic and genuinely Kimberly Scroggins.
